HELPFUL REFUNDING/COUPONING ABBREVIATIONS

B1G1F: "Buy One Get One Free"; usually found on store coupons.
B & H: Benson and Hedges
C/D: Complete deal
"C" Note: The proof of purchase from inside each pack of Camel cigarettes.
CB: Cardboard backing; what's left after all the refunds are taken on a grocery display. Usually says..."Sorry...", and gives an address to write and get a form.
C/O: Cents off coupons or cash offs. Also known as coupons.
CPNS: Coupons
CRTC: Cash register tape with price circled.
Codes: Some refunds ask for a code number copied from the product package.
Coufund: A coupon that requires proofs of purchase to be attached to it. It is used at the checkout.
Code/Tape Offer: A refund requiring no proofs of purchase other than a code number copied from the product and/or a cash register receipt.
DCRT: Dated cash register tape
DND: Do not double
EPOP: Each pays own postage
F: Refund form
Free Item Coupon: A coupon that came back from a refund offer that allows a shopper to get a free full-sized product at the store.
HBA: Health and beauty aids; such as shampoo, medicine, etc.
Health Monitor Form: Refund form found at a blood pressure machine at the store.
HT or HgT: Hang tag...refunds found hanging from products on the store shelf.
H/F: Handling fee; small amount of money
LSASE: Long self-addressed stamped envelope
XLSASE: Extra-long self-addressed stamped envelope
LSA(2)SE: Long self-addressed stamped envelope with 2 stamps on it.
Ltd: "Limited". Offer is limited to (valid in) a few states/regions only.
Money Plus or $$++: Any offer/form that requires money to be sent as part of the deal.
MF: Form cut from a magazine
MUM: Marlboro Unlimited Miles (UPC)
NAZ: Name, address, zip
Npf: refund form from the newspaper
Neckband: label/safety seal taken from neck of bottle
NB: National brand (not generic)
NBQ: National brand qualifier
NED: No expiration date
OAS: On any size; usually referring to a coupon good on one product of any size (use these on trial size products and sometimes get the product free!!)
OAV: On any variety
OSI: On single item
1-4-1: "one for one"; meaning an equal exchange of items
PHCD: Phone card or calling card
POP: Proof of purchase; such as a upc or a label. Potluck: A collection of miscellaneous UPCs, coupons, etc.
UPC: Also known as a qualifier...usually the bar code on a product label.
PP: Purchase price
P/H: Postage and handling
Premium: a gift received from a refund/offer, such as a toy, t-shirt, etc.
Qualifier: A proof of purchase from a product's packaging.
Request list: A list of desired refund forms, organized alphabetically or chronologically, that you send with a trade
SAE: Self addressed envelope, with no postage attached
SF: Store form
SMP: Specially marked package
Snips: Small pieces of plastic cut from lids or caps
SS: Sunday supplements
Tear pad: A pad of refund forms found hanging from a store shelf or display
TOB: Tobacco
Tracing: A tracing taken from the front of a package as proof of purchase
UPC: A Universal Product Code...those black lines with numbers written below them.
VS: Virginia Slims
WSL: While supplies last
3=1; 2=1; etc.: Three proofs equal (count as) one, as in a trade. Used for small value qualifiers
